QC ENGINEER / MANAGER
(Sabah)
Responsibilities : - Reporting to the Operation Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for implementing and reporting of the Company’s production quality
- Provide technical support to Sales/Marketing in products advisory
- Monitor plant feed stocks, work-in-products and products quality
- Troubleshoot with production team in any production related issues
- Oversee continuous improvement/trouble-shooting activities by working closely with production departments and managing the lab and small team
- Attend to customer and product trials as and when needed
- Familiar and keep up to-date with European and International standards and ensure production processes and materials are in full compliance with these standards
Requirements :
- The ideal candidate should be tertiary qualified (in chemistry, materials or other relavant subject) and have a proven track record preferably within the oils and fats, oleochemicals, petrochemicals, biodiesel sector
- Results-driven, with a sound analytical mind, good grasp of chemistry/materials and able to work independently, hands on and mature person
- Computer literate individuals who are fluent in both verbal and written English
- Successful candidate with minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience are encouraged to apply
